Rivaroxaban (Xarelto) - A New Oral Anticoagulant

The FDA has approved rivaroxaban (Xarelto – Janssen), an oral direct factor Xa inhibitor, for prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in patients undergoing knee or hip replacement surgery.
